How to make Tomato Pickle | Andhra Tomato Pachadi

INGREDIENTS:-

1. Tomatoes - 2 kilograms, clean, cut into half and slice each half into 10-12 thin slices
2. Salt - 2 1/2 to 3 tablespoons
3. Sugar - 1 tablespoons (optional)



FOR TEMPERING:-

1. Oil - 200 ml
2. Mustards seed - 1 tablespoons
3. Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoons  (optional)
4. Urad dal - 1 tablespoons
5. Dry red chilies - 6, tear and de-seed
6. Curry leaves - 4-5 sprigs
7. Asafoetida - 1 heaped tablespoons
8. Red chili powder - 2 1/2 tablespoons  (can be increased by another 1/2 tablespoon)

METHOD FOR PREPARING TOMATO PICKLE:-

1. Wash the tomato vegetables and piece them into a little bit slim lengthy items. Set aside.

2. Heat 50 ml oil in a huge vessel, add the tomato vegetables and make one great flame for 2 mts. Reduce fire and prepare for at least a time or so. Mix the tomato vegetables once in a while. Proceed to make until the conventional water almost vanishes.
